The first few minutes after a repair are useful. You can confirm that the original fault has improved, check related functions and ask questions while the repair record is open. A calm final check is better than discovering a missed symptom after you leave.
Test the repaired function
- After a display repair, test touch across the whole screen, brightness and the front camera area.
- After a battery repair, test charging, startup and percentage behaviour.
- After a camera repair, check focus, flash, video and both camera directions.
- After a speaker or microphone repair, make a short call and recording.
- After MacBook input work, test keys, trackpad clicks and the ports used during the job.
Keep the repair information
Save the repair ID, invoice and warranty terms. Ask what the warranty covers, what it excludes and how to contact the centre if the same symptom returns. The terms should be clear enough to understand without guessing.
Give the device a sensible first day
Use the device normally, but avoid unnecessary heat, liquid and impact. Do not cover vents or charge a device that becomes unusually hot. If you see a new symptom, record when it happens instead of repeatedly forcing the same test.
Use the Track Repair page for status updates, or contact the team with the repair ID if you need help.
